If you’re interested in the idea of volunteering your time but don’t think you have the skills or training necessary to make a difference, perhaps Mary’s story below will inspire you. If you’ve got heart – you’ve got what we’re looking for.
Mary Stansell gathers information about each resident’s abilities, characteristics and personality. She scours the town, online and through her vast piles of scrap material to make a fantastic bedding creation that is tailored for each individual. Mary’s quilts are very high quality and will last a lifetime. Her genuine heart-work comes through in the masterpieces that can bring tears to anyone’s eyes. Recipients love snuggling into these works of art every night. Thank you Mary!
